Where can I find a Nikon D40 SLR Digital Camera (Body Only) in Hamilton,ON for under $489.99?

I've wanted one for a very long time. so if you could PLEASE just answer this question. i would be very thankful! :D
or if anyones selling one for free. :D MAJORLY THANKFUL!

Be VERY VERY VERY cautious of cheap prices advertised for cameras. There are LOTS of scam artists out there. They use a "bait and switch" technique to lure you to ordering a camera. You then get a phone call high pressuring you to buy all kinds of required extras, that in many instances come with the camera anyway. They charge way too high for these "required extras". If you refuse to buy them, all of a sudden the camera is not in stock. Or another tactic is to LIE to you telling you the advertised price is for a China made camera, (NO D40s are made in China), and that if you want a "higher quality" camera it will cost much more. Also, no matter what you do, you will end up paying insane shipping charges. ONLY order your camera equipment from B-H photo / video in New York. Adorama is also a reputable company. You are NOT going to get something for nothing. If you do order from ANYPLACE other than the two I mentioned, … well… I am afraid you will be in for a very unpleasant experience, and in the end you will NOT get a "cheap" D40. www.parrottimaging.com

i could only suggest you of searching for electronics such as cameras at Hongkong or Singapore, they have the cheapest prices around. travel if you have the money. good luck.

A brief online survey shows all major retailers in the area (that show prices) are within 10 bucks of each other.

So sorry — no bargoons on this one.

Henry's is probably your best bet, as they have the biggest selection of gear.

If you can drive up the QEW to Toronto, their downtown store is huge — but the price is still the same ;-)
